I know its very short the engine I use requires money to make bigger games yk and I just dont have money rn so next update will be the full release! lmk if you encounter bugs, if you have ideas of want to become a beta tester!!! I want to make a genuinely good game so please don't be shy

Well, I gave it a brief shot. Is the downloadable version different? It's so zoomed-in that I couldn't really see anything around the character. It felt a bit like I was stuck in a loop, too, but maybe it's just that the level design doesn't have a lot of variation.

If you move left, you drop down a few pixels for some reason. Collision-box mismatch, maybe?
It's also very possible to get caught on the sides of platforms and just hang in mid-air.
I found it strange that I took damage from some spikes but died instantly from others.
The jump in the starting area is extremely weak.
You can walk left at the start (even with the dialogue open) and fall out of the world.

Is there more to the game? I played the first area and then went through the second until I had to make a blind drop and ended up in an area a lot like where I'd started.

its in its ROUGH start im fixing those issues rn but the first game you can find on my profile is alot more furnished if your curious about whats happening and idk i made this game to be played in the browser so im not sure if the downloadable version even works i apreciate your feedback

I used the downloaded version and didn't have the same issues as Sinclair. It ran fine for me.

that might be due to the fact ive been updating it every time someone has an issue im quick

Here are my notes:

1. Punctuation would make reading the text more enjoyable (I'm dyslexic)

2. Moving left drops you down a little and moving right corrects it

3. There needs to be a barrier to prevent falling off the map endlessly (or a kill/reset screen after a set time of falling)

4. The collision is weird between the platform/blocks and the character. You can stick to the sides of the blocks and continually jump up them. I even had a "double" jump at one time due to this. You can also get stuck just walking forward due to this issue.

5. The character is still active after the death screen pops up. You can move around and still interact with stuff (spikes) from behind the death screen.

6. There were a few times (hard to recreate) that I didn't take damage from touching the spikes, but then would instantly die a few steps later to nothing, even with full/mostly full health.

Well, I hope this helps. If there is a way into the door at the end, I didn't figure out a way. Also, maybe put a quick key layout at the beginning so we don't have to press random keys to figure out that R resets or w/e. I enjoy the art and am looking forward to what this game will turn into. I will keep giving feedback as the game updates if you're fine with it.

those collision bugs i cant fix its the engin, its made for small little flappy bird brain rot kids games not body horror chibi wolf and 80000 assets hand drawn and shotty code glued together with hope. i did now also add control guide at the intro hope that helps and to interact with stuff you just need to click on them same with the death screen i just kida hoped no one would notice you can move around if you dont click on the death screen LMAOO
