This game is in mid-development, with many features to come.
Make the sprite flip when you press a, it's just a $(spritename).flip_h or flip_v = true/false (I can't remember which)
You need a lot more speed, a dash or a sprint or some speed powerup would be good
i am probably adding 8-directional dash, but the game is still very early in development
