Program not actually saving? + Physics visualizer suggestion

First time using the program! Lots of researching and failing today. xD
Did a solid 9 hours of work. Several saves and (what I assumed to be) auto saves. Clicked "Demo Model", and was instantly swapped to a demo model without a save prompt. Tried to swap back to the model I was working on, but file somehow reverted back to around the second hour of work.

There was one "2201578570" file in "autosaves" folder. I renamed it to the file I had previously been working on, and it seems like I got a lot of the work back. But I had been saving a LOT over the hours, and experienced a sort of freeze at regular intervals that appeared to be auto saves, so are these saves going elsewhere? Why was my file not being overwritten with every save? (Does using -console vs regular launch make any sort of difference?)

*checking at 6:15 am, saving alone doesn't seem to update my file anymore. I have to "save as" and create a new copy if I want it to properly update.

(Just wanted to show it says my last save  to the original file was about 6 hours apart from the auto save, even though I was saving often.)

I also kept running into a problem where if I set a layer to be triggered only by talking, its "triggered" effect would only be transparent at best. I can delete and re-rig the layers to fix them, but if I'm doing something that's affecting it, it'd be nice to know. :p
Here the speaking mouth is above the head layer, being triggered, but is translucent instead of fully opaque (the arm holding her chin also triggers with speaking. I had to delete and reset its parts).

Nevermind, looks like I applied "mouth closed" to the mouth folder aaaa

Suggestions:
I'd like to suggest a sort of visualizer for physics and hard limits like the PNGTuber+ program had. I'm struggling trying to pin down the correct angle allowances without wiggling appendages clipping through wrong parts of the model.

An "Are you sure you want to delete this folder/parent" warning when attempting to delete several layers at once. I nuked so much progress early on with this by accident.

Same with switching models. I didn't get a warning when switching to the demo model, it just poofed my model away.

Sorry for the long post! Lots I wanna brain dump while everything is fresh. The wagging feature had me wanting to make the jump.
