We have always intended for the game to be free. The patreon version is for those people who want to donate to us to show support, and, in return, you get to play the patreon version. The patreon version is a work-in-progress and we do not encourage people to play it, but if you want to experience what it’ll be like and don’t mind unfinished work, then you can do so if you support us.
We will try out best, but as the patreon version is unfinished, it is likely that it won’t work or there might be an issue using it in the finished version. We would encourage people to play the finished game from the beginning instead of continuing from the old save file.
