¡Greetings everyone!
I know I haven't posted any news about the project in a long time. This was due to several factors that inevitably kept me away from development for a while: hernia surgeries, new home, fatherhood, work obligations, and other non-game-related software projects.
Now that things have calmed down a bit, I found myself facing a completely different landscape: new game engines that quickly took over the market, artificial intelligence tools, and other technologies that, in my opinion, changed forever the paradigm of apps and games development. Of course, I didn't let these tools pass me by; instead, I took the opportunity to thoroughly explore them and integrate into this project called ZCAVENGER, expanding the game's vision.
Because of all this, I've decided to rollback and start over again this year, using Unreal Engine 5, an engine that has the necessary capabilities to get the most out of it in terms of quality and playability.
I also wanted to let you know that I'm also dedicating part of my days to polishing the lore and main story script and composing the game's music, for complete immersion in this post-apocalyptic adventure. The story and soundtrack will have influences from several video game classics and horror movies that I hope will surprise you.
Finally, I remind you that the demo version is still available to play. You can download it from the official page or from itch.io. Please note that this is just a small concept of what is to come.
