Puppy Truck is unique as hell. Really cool 3D platformer and super fresh in a pretty saturated genre.

The movement is really solid. Love that it’s momentum based and you can kind of propel puppy and wall ride vertically up surfaces. There’s a lot of scope there. I imagine it’s something you can become very skilled at and start to become very strategic and intentional with propelling yourself and boosting all around the room. Very unique and feels virtually flawless in terms of weight. Zoomies.

I fell in love with the first level with the 3 cars mission. The rooms were so rich in detail - though could even go deeper on that. But it was great to traverse around. I’m a sucker for playing games where you’re small in a big room and Puppy Truck does that exceptionally well. It really felt like its own interconnected world. I also genuinely lol’d at some of the writing. The characters are full of personality. I think my favourite was either the train driver who sort of nonchalantly ignores the fact you’re pushing his oversized plastic food/lunch off the bookshelf or the weird doctor guy - genuinely funny dialogue.

It’s really good. I’m very excited to play the full game. It feels vintage and new. Excited to see the new maps with more detail and Easter eggs, more oddball NPCs and hidden collectibles in the full game!

Great work Dev!!!
