Manage history

Fascinating idea! It seems like a no-brainer for Playdate game devs to post game news, tutorials, documentation, etc.

How is your browsing history managed? There’s no way to manage it from the app, but I think it’d me useful to have a couple of options like delete now, always flush on app exit, flush after x days.

Hey Arctic, glad you think that!

A few have contacted me with what they are building, so some of features I've been releasing are to tailor their needs. Game reviews and game news is one of the most recurring projects, but none of them are out - yet!

It would be great to get devs on board with making small websites for their own games! It is very fitting for a Playdate game to have their website accessible via the Playdate.

As for history, there is no way to delete it today. Didn't think it would be a problem so early on 😉 . However it only keeps the last 10 items, so items should recycle often. That said, it shouldn't be much of an issue to at least add a flush button at the bottom of the list to get rid of that page with topless Donald Duck pictures that we totally landed by accident and immediately exited within minutes.

I'll keep it mind for the next updates!

Haha!! I didn’t realise it already had a limited history so I was thinking more about the cache growing! 🤣
