Whenever I play I can normally get into the gameplay and everything but when it gets into a cinematic, like the visual novel part, the screen gets black or white and the text is the only thing that appears. Is there a way of fixing this?

unfortunately no there is no fix, but it should (hopefully) be fixed in the next update ;)
