just use wine (GUI), its simple

Doesn't work, mouse can't press buttons when running thru wine. Like how does that even happen. Linux build or make it work in wine

Use wine use this... Bruh just make a Linux build. Nowadays it's so easy to just press compile for Linux. And Linux is also getting more popular which it should for good reasons.

You can run it through proton on steam which works for me using the Proton-GE and regular proton:

1. open steam and use the "add non-steam game" function and select the .exe executable

2. go to your library

3. look for the executable name and select the properties of the game

4. go to 'compatibility' and tick the 'force use of specific compatibility layer'

5. choose the latest proton version in steam 

6. run the game ^v^
