The executable I got from downloading this game raised 33/70 security flags on virustotal.com and the standard Windows security suite also really didn't want me to download this. The latter can sometimes be a false positive, but 33/70 flags on virustotal.com is some of the most I've ever seen besides known trojans. The popular labeled threat for this exe is "trojan.dinvoke/redcap" according to virustotal.com. I'd like to assume this is unintended on the part of the developer, but I still don't want to risk executing this on my system. The concept looks really cool and I'd love to play it if not for the security concerns.

Hi rm0501. I’m just seeing your post. The game is not signed correctly. I created this game while learning C# and made it from scratch. (No game engine involved.) I’ll investigate how to sign the executable so anyone can enjoy this game. I apologize for my lack of experience in this matter.

By the way, the source code is available on GitHub, allowing anyone to review it.

Thanks for the correspondence! I'll check out the source code! Good luck getting the signage sorted out!!
