Traveling via compass and not terminal commands

Hello friends!

I love VotV! I recently have been trying to better orient myself in game by navigating purely with the compass and map instead of targeting satellites. I think it's a lot of fun, but would be even better improved if:

1) N/S colors were flipped on the compas

2) the handheld map had an arrow that showed the direction you're facing instead of a blue dot.

Has anyone else tried this?

I stopped using the command direction a long time ago and orient myself exclusively by compass, sometimes using a map. And I've never had a problem with compass needle colors.

In fact, the map is not as big as it seems at the very beginning, and the distant satellites are not as far away as it seems. It always seemed to me that Yankee and TR_1 were actually very close to base.

I truly think the compass colors are more preference than anything else (red=north/blue=south) but I still think an arrow instead of a blue dot on the map would be helpful for orientation purposes, especially early on as you are getting your bearings :)

I still don't understand why this is so confusing to people. I didn't feel any difficulties with orientation because of the arrows. By default, the blue arrow points in a specific direction, and on maps the arrow points in the same direction. That's the most important thing. Where it is north or south is somehow not important.

Perhaps, my friend, people are just built different.
