game refuses to run no matter what

i read the FAQ, read the instructions on how to extract, but for some reason it's not running at all

at best it's just a black screen before instantly closing up, could it be a driver issue ? if so, then RIP, guess i won't be able to play MDT

(i have a HD 520 integrated graphics "card" unit, and a Intel i 3-6006U processor.)

You answered it yourself https://technical.city/en/video/GeForce-GT-1030-vs-HD-Graphics-520

well damn, guess i won't be able to play it. i don't even understand why does the driver matter, it's not like i'm playing an Unreal Engine 5 game on the ENIAC or Sphere 1 computer lol

thanks for the answer anyways

Developer

Not the driver, but the power of your GPU, which is on the weakest of the weakest list. Godot's 2D lighting requires at least a 1050 TI to have a somewhat ok performance.

i didn't know that the lighting was THAT demanding, damn.

Developer

1050 TI is not even a mid-tier gpu lol
