If you guys made it so you could have a fully female main character, that'd make this game so much better / accessible... Nothing wrong with it now but if were saying it's androgynous I'd like to play as a boyish female too? 

Futa would be the best option for a game like this ngl. But I understand that it would be a lot of work to make a different version of the MC.
