Hey, just wanted to report that the game runs pretty flawlessly on linux. I am running fedora 41 KDE and have lutris and GE Proton installed

I know there may be a thousand better ways to do this but this works

Prerequisite: Download the game files and extract them 

1. Install Lutris

2, Configure Lutris as you see fit

3. click on the plus icon (top left)  --> Install a Windows Game from an executable

4. Fill in Game Name, Installer preset and locale -> click on install

5. In the Menu that follows click on "Install" at Wine/Setup File -> Navigate to  a directory where you want to install voices of the void

6. Click on continue. "At select the setup file" navigate to the path that contains your exe. --> choose your exe file as "installer" and click Install. 

7. The game should start. Wait until you can quit, then quit out. Now. navigate to the directory you created during installation and copy or move voices of the void somewhere in this file structure(you need the path in the next step

8. Right click the game in lutris and configure the game like this

-Executable: [/installdir]/voices-of-the-void/drive_c/games/VotV.exe

- wine prefix: /installdir]/voices-of-the-void/d

- runner options: Wine version: GE Proton or Proton 9 

- click save and start the game. it should work
