Game Mechanics

As of version 0.1, the game mechanics slightly resembles [a popular board game] rules.  But given the nature of the game and also the world in which it takes place, I don't plan on staying strictly to those rules.  For example, Barbarian rage in [that other board game] grants resistances and bonuses. I plan on making variants depending on player affinities.  So there would be a version of rage for chaos affinity, lust and heavenfire.  That would still be, in my opinion still be [that other board game]-ish.  We could go beyond that and add a "horny" mechanic to the game.  Certain moves would increase the horny stat which adds buffs or penalties.  This would be beyond 5e mechanics and be closer probably to Corruption of Champions-style mechanics.

What are your thoughts?  Stick to 5e-ish or go beyond that?

We will be adding very customized mechanics to the game.  Will not even resemble [the other board game] when complete.
