Dunno, really.
Only got the impression it could have to do with sex position. Nearly everytime I set them in either missionary or cowgirl they got pregnant. Futas, girls, servant or dungeon keeper, didn't matter.
Other than that, about 50% of the time somebody cums, the partner gets pregnant, and even some of the servants just free-roaming the dungeon (set to no job) did some shenanigans on their own and some got pregnant that way. With fertile trait, 99% of sex action got them preggo.
But that is just very subjective feeling on my part, and mind you I played this game for about 3 weeks before I found something a bit less repetitive & more engaging over on the f95 page.
Iffen you wanna breed some more furry things, with better graphics & less strain on the GPU, try Breeders of the Nephelym (no spiders in that one though^^). Kept me for nights over a couple weeks, pretty funny game, really. And a lot more polished & closer to being finished than this one.
Hope you get your spider family going anyway, sounds like a nice, cribbly-crawly idea.
I played BON a fair bit a year or two ago it is a good game I'll agree with you on that, but I feel like its been abandoned or forgotten.
Of course I could be very wrong but that's just how it seems to me.
(Just went to the steam page and its not abandoned but irl issues slow the progress so that's my bad)
I had, and am still having, my fun with BotN, but not the most recent incarnation though. Dev is still on it, but I think he's got his priorities mixed up. I did read up on the whole slow development shit-show on the F95 page's forum, where the most recent builds can be found, but from what I understand the steam build is kinda the neglected sibling.
Most recent two updates that dropped on the F95 page -actually only a little more than a week or so ago- the cum anims got bugged and no fix in sight, cuz Dev's got a hard-on about some new "fluid system" he implemented and he's apparently determined to go with it, even if it is broken atm.
So I am sticking with an earlier build. But honestly, I'm too impatient for that snail-pace at which this potentially great game's development is apparently going atm, whatever problems Dev might have had or still has.
And mind you: Dev also has couple thousand $ from backers monthly...not complaining though, I ain't looking the free-to-play game gift horse in the mouth, just sayin'.....
I'm willing to put in the work & study up though. I'd just love to be able to mod the game myself, now I'm hoping somebody can tell me how to get into the game files, what programs or tools I gotta learn to work with to mod a UnReal engine game like BotN
And sadly, I cannot access the steam store, or even the community pages, for BotN or any other adult / NSFW games or content to get some pointers, since I live in germany.
And our oh-so-holy censorship authority, the USK, has two uber-pious numbskulls on their board, from both catholic & protestant church, so they force valve to geo-cock-block all NSFW content on steam over here. The nation in europe that consumes more online porn than any other. Figures, right ;)
