Me and my friend cant play multiplayer on higher versions.(on stable version)

So me and my friend are just playing this game and we wanted to try the newer versions. We did that we tried playing and when i joined it was fine. when he joined it would'nt show my player and it would make me fly.

only works on 2007E (im the friend btw)
