The apk won’t install on my Android phone. It takes a while to stage and then I just get a message saying “Application not installed.”

I’m running Android 10, security patch June 1, 2022, kernel version 4.9.206-perf+

I would try uninstalling the app, delete the downloaded apk file, and then try downloading and installing again. Let me know if the issue still persists.
