failed to authorize with apple music

I tried logging in multiple times with my account and won't authorize. The regular apple music web app works fine though.

This is the same problem I'm having. 

Troubleshooting info:

Windows 10, Cider 3.1.2. 

I tried logging in both with a password and passkey (via iPhone) and get the same "Problem Connecting" error either way.

Apple Music app logs in fine, as does the web player via Firefox and Edge. It's just Cider that gives me the "Problem Connecting" message. Since Cider seems to use Edge for Apple login/authorization, I went ahead and selected "Trust" when I logged into the web player in Edge, but I don't know if Cider uses my installation or a separate version so....

I use 2FA on my Apple account, if that makes any difference. I've set up an app-specific password for Cider, but I don't see any option to use that in the Cider login flow.

Any help from the devs would be appreciated!
