The glitches can range from breaking digestion/level-up sequences to softlocking the game (which is really frustrating to have happen in the middle of a mission).
It seems like a simple issue where some code triggered later in the dialouge sequence gets skipped, because of the dialouge sequence itself being skipped.
If skipping the dialouge rushed to running this code rather than simply skipping the dialogue sequence, that would cause less glitches.
Love the game so far, though.
