I was playing this version-Stranded in Space Days 1-17 - Elysium Version - PC & Linux and have now purchased the Steam version 19.5

Is there a way to move the saves from the PC version to the Steam Version?

It should transfer over on its own if it's on the same computer. Did it not detect your saves?
