So basically, I was stupid and not paying attention to levels. I got this far pretty underleveled, but thought it was standard difficulty up unto this point. Now, I am stuck trying to fight a troll double my level in a dungeon I can't leave from.

So to answer my own question, and I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but I left the window open by itself for like an hour and actually got the arrow to back out so good for me.
