Sorry, forgot to post this with the release, durr.
Post bug reports (including typos) for version 0.7.x here. Try to be as specific as possible: what's happening, where, and under what circumstances, if appropriate.
There is a teleporter in this location
It teleports to here.
The game treats that you are in "Get Money For the Cat" mode, and may break beyond that point, since it's not intentional for you to be there.
The game also softlocks if you go down toward the locked gate, as you need to be wearing the street outfit to access the area, and it will just keep on throwing you back toward the gate.
As much as I'd love our little bun being caged, even if one side isn't a real wall, I don't think you'd want it to go unnoticed. Haha.
I am loving the game, the added scenes of what I have...scene.... so far, and must say, these are far from my major fetishes, but wow, this game humbles those fetishes. From what I usually like to see to what I don't mind being an addition has switched around for this game. Keep on keeping on!
So I stumbled across a way to softlock the game in stealth mode of Entertainment District I.
If you don't do the voiceprint step with the recorder early enough, and you encounter all the enemies both before the gate with the voiceprint and the point at the anklet piece gathering area, and you're still naked, you'll softlock the game as you can't progress through District I without your clothes, and from what I could tell you couldn't get to the area past the gate even from the back because he prompts you to get your clothes first at that area as well, which is where the clothes are. If you try to go back and get the voiceprint from the hyena like normal you'll hit the area that teleports you to the second half of the district again, so you have no way to enter from the front gate nor the back staircase. I believe even if you could get back through the staircase you wouldn't be able to get past the fire escape staircase cause you haven't placed the rope their yet either. You can't trigger the bad end either, as you run out of enemies before you hit the required amount of captures for it.
Apologies for the long winded explanation, just a rather odd softlock that I found trying to quickly get to the bad end in District I.
Alright so let me try to piece this together in my mind.
We're in the stealth mode for Ent Dist 1, having lost a bunch of times. We've gotten all the way to the second half, with the kitsune fetchquest. When you're fully captured in this mode, you lose your clothes and have to go recover them. There are randomized sites for this on both the first and second half (before and after the underground), and if you're nude you're not allowed to go between the first and second half without retrieving your clothes first.
All this makes sense.
I don't follow the rest of your post though.
It's impossible to get to the second half with the kitsune quest without getting the voice print and opening the gate. Whichever half you're in, if you're nude it's impossible to progress without retrieving your clothes first, and this should be possible in either half.
Would you mind explaining the bug again?
Checking on your second post, I did notice I had left a debug teleport tile in at the beginning of that stealthmode alley against the wall. Anything you were able to do using that was unintended behavior. So if that's what you were reporting, weird stuff after using that tile, it's fixed, I've removed it and that will be reflected in the new bug fix. If there was other odd behavior though, let me know.
Apologies for the late response, haven't been on in a few days 😅
Yes most of the issues I was referring to was because of the teleport tile that was in the beginning of the alley preventing me from getting the voiceprint for the gate. I didn't realize at first that I could just walk around it, and I thought the teleportation aspect was an intended feature, but looking back it makes sense that was actually NOT intended and just a tile left in from testing. So yeah with that teleportation gone there should be nothing stopping the player from accessing the entire district 1 anymore. Glad I could help get that found out!
Excellent, glad that was all it was then. I have that and a few other fixes ready to go, but it's been a busy week. Hopefully should have a new patched version out before too long though. I wouldn't be in such a hurry normally, but I really should get that teleport tile out before it causes more problems for people. Thanks for the report!
