This is the finest digital war game I've ever played. It is very simple but therein lies its brilliance! Is it possible to do some mods myself to this game? If so, is there a good starting point perhaps? Are there some docs available in that direction?

Thank you for your work, Nicu.

Are you aware that this game is a remake of Panzer General 2 game? There is also Open General remake where you cane make your own "mods" named Efiles (equipment files). There are already many Efiles for Open General about different wars and battles. (http://www.open-general.com/installer.php). I do not know if Panzer General 2 also uses the concept of Efiles.

I WAS NOT AWARE!!! THANK YOU!!!

First Panzer General (1994) game was a commercial success according to wikipedia which made computer turn based hex wargames popular. Because of its success there were made many more games in Panzer General series (you can check it on wikipedia) and many other companies made similar games in following years. Have you checked it out yet? I can post you a list of some of those games.

MODDING: where and how do I put back a modified equip...csv file so that changes are seen by the game?
