like, will i still receive updates

I bought the microsoft store version initially, but I had to repurchase when I got it on itch.io. However, every time they come out with a new update, I will receive it for free on itch.io because it's linked to my account. It was worth $4 or whatever to be able to get all the updates in the future.

Highly recommend you don't buy on the MS store. I had frequent troubles updating and launching it.
