I would like to suggest a 'Signal Mode' of sorts. I know that, even while playing peaceful, there are still plentiful random horror events and the like. However much I enjoy the great design of Voices of The Void as a horror game, I also find the collecting of signals to be, if you'll excuse me french, abso-fucking-lutely euphoric. I love, love, LOVE this game's signal collection. It's just absolutely orgasmic to look at that little box full of tapes with processed signals, close it up, place it down with the 3 other boxes of signals, and sell 'em all. I'd like to propose a mode entirely about this concept, essentially phasing out the overwhelming majority of easter-eggs, threats, random events, story events and alike. Purely harmless random signals and storms and the like, even horrifying creatures which don't actually hurt the player (like Wolfgang) should be phased out. It's possible that, to keep the game interesting, things like Ariral pranks should be kept in (since Ariral pranks are almost entirely harmless) however things like Red Wisps and Hellhounds should not be able to spawn at all. The mode should purely be about collecting random signals, refining them, selling them, and the other rather relaxing parts of gameplay (like cleaning). It's possible that a 'creative mode' of sorts, in which you can turn hunger, stamina, and infinite money on/off at the start of the save (or even mid-game), cheat codes in peaceful mode, or the option to disable the above 'horror events' when making a peaceful save would fix this. Obviously, things that you have to go out of your way to encounter and have almost no chance of encountering randomly, like The Fridge out-of-bounds or the giant creature (forgot it's name) which has to be summoned with and can be banished with secret commands in the console, could be kept in harmlessly as it's almost impossible for them to have any effect on you unless you specifically seek them out.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not, but I need this. My brain can't handle being without it, I'm going off the rails on a crazy train.
