You could probably run it using Lutris. Lutris has Winetricks built into it, which is great for resolving dependency issues.

You can absolutely play DX11 games in Wine with DXVK. Just use Bottles so you reduce the amount of manual setup you have to do and thus the amount of stuff that can go wrong - create a Bottle, use any version of Wine you want (IIRC Soda is their protonized version with additional features ported over from Valve’s proton), enable DXVK, have fun.
