Hello everyone! This is a game which was started as soon as i heard of this contest. It was quite a challenge to complete it given the time and my work hours, but here it is. I want to thank the good people from the Lunatic discord server, specially Zarsla and Bioweaponlrum, for giving me advice! I also want to thank my girlfriend for putting up with me and my obsession to deliver this game on time. It was quite an entertaining thing to do, and a good chance to tell a story.

The game is actually set after what happens on a story i've been working on. So it's more of a sequel, that works well on itself. There are heavy simbolism, psychology and philosophy influences throughout the game, specially from thinkers like Sigmund Freud, Doland Winnicott, Melanie Klein, Jean Paul Sartre and Friedrich Nietzsche. The first concept of it came from the Allegory of the cave from Socrates, i wanted to portrait a story about characters who lived in the dark, without a hint of the world that existed above them. The cave itself, in this story, is the home of the children, and it represents the mother's womb. Throughout the journey, the children will enter a transitional state on which they will discover their own individualities, feat needed to find a way out of the cave; to be born anew. This is achieved by consuming Feelings, strange creatures that overfly the caves in the shape of butterflies.

I got a big inspiration from games like Nier, Don't Starve, and (my favourite) The Binding of Isaac. What i uploaded is just a small, humble prototype, but i hope someday, to develop this game to its full potential, with all the quirks and gimmicks i envisioned for it.

Tl;dr: Thank you for playing SEIN! I hope you have as much fun playing it as i had making it~
