Hey, cool teaser! I'd be happy to tell you my thoughts :)

Emotional impact: Seeing the scene made me feel invested and curious. It made me wonder, who is this guy? What is that blue thing? What kind of world is this, and what are they doing here?

Atmosphere: The visuals do a good job of communicating to the viewer a tone of mystery, possible loneliness, and maybe companionship between these two characters. The music gives me a sense of adventure, trials ahead, and a presence of a great unknown to explore. These work together to put ideas into my head about what the game will be about.

Curiosity: The emotional impact and atmosphere definitely highlighted this section! One other thing that had me guessing was the color choice; Everything has a threatening red hue with dramatic black shadows, with four blue focal points in the center. The flashes of blue light also give off that dramatic and threatening tone. It leads me to think that these four things will be integral to the game, and that the player will get accustomed to them at some point in the adventure.

Expectations: I am expecting to see some kind of player interaction with these four focal objects. Maybe some exploration of what this red world has to offer, and some insight on the protagonist's relationship with these other three objects.

I will say that, on my end at least, everything is kind of awkwardly pixelated. It breaks the immersion a bit, unless it's a stylistic choice.

Please feel free to check out my game, I could use your feedback as well: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo

This is coming along quite nicely I think! It was a smart choice to put the player in a state of mystery early on like this, as I assume that's how we'll feel playing the game!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm so happy to hear that the teaser managed to evoke curiosity and emotional impact. Your insights about the atmosphere, color choices, and expectations give me a lot of valuable perspectives as I continue to develop the game.

Regarding the pixelated visuals, you nailed it! It's a stylistic choice aimed at capturing a retro aesthetic. However, I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, so I'm planning to include an option in the settings to toggle the pixel effect on or off. That way, players can choose the visual style that they prefer.

Again, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your feedback will be instrumental in shaping both the video and board game experiences plan for next year.
