Beautiful but hard to grasp

I would like to play this game more, but the controls for me are far too unintuitive. Find myself constantly in a "what should I do?" or "why can't I ..." without the game giving me any hand  to progress. The navigation to me is the hardest part - riddled to a degree that it is  discusting. So many switches and mechanics and hidden rules. Lights are on, lights are off - why? No clue. "Game, please tell me!" - "No!". It's not enjoyable, and the beauty alone doesn't compensate for that. When I am sitting somewhere in the waters -  an open plane in front of me I would like to explore and game says: "no! but I don't tell you why!" - that's the moment when I also say "no." and switch off.

Sorry to hear you had a tough time with the game's controls. Were you using a controller or mouse & keyboard? It also sounds like you might have missed some important parts of the tutorial, like where it explains what the lights next to the controls represent.

If you ever happen to run into something that doesn't make sense, or if you'd like some tips for what to do next, jump into our Discord server and we can help.

Also, there is an in-game hint system that is mentioned at the end of the tutorial, as well as notes about all of the ship controls if you hover over them. Those notes will explain what each control does, and the hint system can be activated by clicking on the compass bubble.

Hopefully all of that is helpful!

Thanks for the quick answer. Was playing the tutorial again - and got  some more info  out of it.  My second round was pretty good - hope next time I get my garden up and running.

So thrilled to hear that! And please, drop by our Discord if anything else pops up that doesn't seem to make sense :)
