I would love ANY feedback on my first game

Hi,
So yea i'm pretty new both here and in GameDev (sounds weird to call it that way but i guess it is). I actually get quite a lot of views i think (little above 100 in 2 days), well maybe it's not a lot but i really am happy, but unluckily i think the game is a bit weird to play and understand, probably also boring (??) but i just love the idea, i'm still thinking which way i wanna go with this further, so mostly i'm just trying to fix some bugs and add whatever is necessary and important, so at this moment mostly i am just looking for someone who would play the game and first of all tell me if they enjoy the idea, then probably what feels bad or weird or what is missing obviously and if you are willing to give any ideas for the future im more than happy to hear it. Dont worry i wont get offended even if you just go there and say "yea man it sucks BECAUSE ", i just want to get any feedback at all.

That was so chaotic sorry

well yeah so heres the game   https://mayzavan.itch.io/protect-the-fire
Hope you like it!

Of course i am more than happy to try your games too and give any feedback i can, just attach your game in comment i'll try it pinky promise :)

Also important note, i really really advice you to put game in fullscreen mode as some texts in informations and controls just doesnt fit in smaller window

Great, looking forward to it!

I didn't expect you to play Kitty Yarn Special just yet, as it is in beta, but thanks so much for the feedback anyway! I'll be sure to add WASD and make some music adjustments, that was in the plan for the final release. Remember that for Grass Elemental, there are two different outcomes to the fight depending on what move you use, and there's some extra dialogue when you 1) Pick the other gender character 2) play all the way through a second time and 3) try to restart from the home screen

Gonna try out Protect the Fire now, really glad you enjoyed!

Do i have to do it all at once without closing the game or does the progress save already?

No I don't think so. Each option should have their own different outcome, whether you do it all at once or not.

I always followed this pattern when testing:

1st playthrough - Pick a gender, pick a move, get initial end dialogue

2nd playthrough - Pick other gender, pick other move, get second end dialogue (You don't have to pick new options to get the second end dialogue, you can do the same ones from the first playthrough if you want)

3rd playthrough - Try to restart the game from the home screen, get new dialogue
