if anyone is wondering who the performance artist is referenced when talking to Kota. His name is Tino Sehgal. His work takes the piss out of overly serious contemporary and conceptual art. You cannot document it. It usually involves the people who work in the places it’s being shown. It’s spontaneous, goofy, smart, and completely self aware of its own “conceptual art”iness.
