Help me balance my new Multiplayer Cardbuilder Roguelike

Hi all,

My most recent project is still in development, but is live and being played!   The feedback so far has been really positive.

You can find it at: https://hohmann.itch.io/steel-and-claw

I'm looking for feedback on the balance of the game.  Do the cards feel good? Are you hitting a progress wall too soon?  Or is it too easy?

Later levels I've started adding some unique mechanics to some of the characters in an effort to make them more of an obstacle, but I don't know if its enough.

I'm hoping to balance the game to make it difficult to progress too far without needing others to help out.  There's been some clever players making some really clever builds to get further than I expected.

What I'm hoping to hear:

  • Certain cards seem to overpowered or really underpowered (though they can't all be winners :))
  • NPC balance.  Do the enemies bring enough of a challenge?  Any particularly hated ones?
  • Ideas for mechanics that I may have missed.

Thanks in advance to everyone for any feedback.

Cheers
