Same issue Unpacked on mac and it just wont open
I had to open up the terminal and run the below command, not sure why but I was able to open it afterword.
chmod -R 755 Tales\ of\ Androgyny\ Mac.app
I had this issue also. I downloaded the itch.io app on the appstore and downloaded the game from there. It's working now, hope this helps
