I'm just having some tiny difficulties trying to run the whole thing so a tutorial on the full process would be a really helpful thing for me and for (probably) other mac users.

You can just try to run the .app file. 

Yu may need to run sudo chmod -x "Tales of Androgyny Mac.app" in the terminal. Google how to open terminal on mac.

Or you can try and just open the .jar file inside of . app It is possible if you have Java installed on your computer.
