Can't run game on Windows or Mac

Hey Bad Cop Studios! I got to try out your game at the Sammies at the extension at UCSC, and I friggin' loved it. I'm stoked to play it but haven't been able to run it. I have a decent PC running Windows 10 64-bit, the most I've been able to do is get the "do you want this app to make changes to your computer" message after troubleshooting compatibility. I also tried downloading it for an old 2008 Macbook and clicking on the app likewise did nothing. Thanks, and best of luck at the Sammies finals!

Are you sure you're using the latest download? Is the app just not opening? You shouldn't need to bother with compatibility...
Also on Mac, you'll want a reasonably recent computer to run the game. Your Mac may be a bit too old.

Don't know what I did differently...but I tried installing the whole thing again on Windows, and I got it to run. I guess this was probably an issue on my end. Sorry to bother you and thanks for the quick reply! I have to go spy on people and make uncomfortable decisions now...

No worries, I'm glad you got it working!

There's nothing to be worried about when playing our game. I'm not sure why it was falsely labeled as a virus, but the downloads for our game do not tamper with your computer beyond typical installation. If you downloaded it from Bad Cop Studios here on itch, you have nothing to fear.
