Thanks for trying out my game!

hey are you still working on Peng Wars these days???

Developer

I’m still working on it, but I took a break over the Christmas holiday. I’ve been wanting to work more on it and release chapter 2, but I’ve been busy with work at college. Though, I should have some more time to work on it soon! Thanks for asking, and I’ll try to put in more work on the game.

so i have played a bunch of games in the last year since i played Peng Wars almost 100 games now. I want to make a youtube video soon called "i played 100 itch.io games, here are the top 10" i am still deciding the top ten but it looks like i might pick Peng Wars. I need to play it again next week to see how i feel its been a while. just wanted to see if this was a dead game or if you were still working on it. so looks like you are.

here u can see ur ranking: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nqVuIbZNhVt340CZiaV8pPQ2tv8Y9UL29jUxKpsx...

click the "WIP" tab at the bottom then search "Peng"

I'll make sure to give this document and your video a look. Your commentary about wanting more intro stages to grind EXP on is fair, since the adult seal on level 6 is pretty tough. I'm nerfing that level in the next release for sure, but do you think it'd be better for the first few stages to just give more EXP, or for there to be a fast-to-clear stage added that lets you grind EXP easily?

thats hard to answer right now. i need to play again and then get back to you!

hey im still working on that top 10 video i told u about that will include Peng Wars but i made another video about how Peng Wars can get more views on youtube!

I'll make sure to give this a watch! I'm already planning to send a demo of Peng Wars to a YouTube channel that's offering to play games you send in, so I'll watch your video for advice.

So, I watched the video, and it seems like good advice to me. I'll definitely look at the smaller YouTube channels you mentioned, and see about contacting them and making a trailer for my game, in addition to contacting that larger YouTube channel I had mentioned earlier.
