So I figured out how to make the linux .exe run, but not how to progress past the title. No buttons worked in handheld mode. Thoughts?

how did you get the game running on Steam Deck? it won't launch for me.

Firstly, have you added the game's executable to Steam so it shows up in your Steam library?
Once that's done, make sure Steam Input is enabled for the game.
