yeah, the controls seem to be different (specifically in accessing the watch/trinket), i tried playing using windows 10 and 11, windows 10 works great, but i can't access the watch on windows 11, is there a way to fix this or do i just have to deal with it?

if your on Windows 11 PC still, you need to press CTRL, Windows, and F1 in order to get access to the watch, i hope this helps!
