deeper-than-8-bit color + image sequence as input + 16-bit TIFF support

Hi, first of all thank you so much for creating the app, it really performs well in contrast to many others and delivers results, amazing work.

In order for it to really be a more universally usable tool, it would need to be able to handle something more advanced than 8-bit consumer color depth. The loss in information is very severe if we drop from a 12-bit input and if any further color corrections are going to be performed after the interpolation and even just further editing and subsequent encoding to a lossy codec, the image fidelity will greatly suffer which is sort of unacceptable.

While there are some more video-centric pro formats such as various 10-bit and 12-bit options, I would suggest just adding support for 16-bit TIFF image sequences as the input (and output). Would that be doable? It would be a real game changer. Thank you again.

I agree. I'm looking to use this for professional purposes and anything less than 12 bit is just downgrading my camera originals too much. If this could have support for ACES EXR or TIFF that would just be amazing. I imagine the interpolation would benefit from more detail as well.
