Welcoming constructive feedback!

Please let me know if you had any issues downloading or installing. I've done a lot to try to keep the game from getting flagged by security, so please let me know if you are seeing something or if you have any other issues.

Planning to consistently update this, so feedback on gameplay is helpful. Ideas for the next content, feature, or just small changes are great to post here. Please try to keep it constructive.

If you run into any bugs, please let me know about them as well!

Hi! Just to let know that the game does have a lot of potential! Started playing yesterday night, enjoying so far.  Yesterday found Kaz online and we had a very good talk, he was very informative.

Few feedbacks:

  • Would be good to have a hunger bar/status, to know when to eat and how much is needed to eat to get full again;
  • After casting a spell, the character walks towards the target (not sure if this is intended to happen);
  • Increase contrast between loots and ground, most of the times, it's quite dificult to see weapons on the ground;
  • Increase the amount of different sounds (damage taken for example), it's too repetitive;
  • Increase enemy hitboxes: giant ants and snakes for example are quite dificult to click;
  • Spell toolbar (too many clicks needed to use different spells) F2 and F3 aren't enough;
  • Since we can't cast a spell while having a shield equipped, would be better if the shield gets unnequipped when equipping a staff/wand (for now, we need to open character and manually remove the shield);
  • Increase success rate of lvl 1 spells, I'm lvl 17, 40 int and the lvl 1 spells are still 61% chance of success, quite frustrating for a caster;

The game is really good for the development stage it is. Congratz to the team (that usually is just 1 person)!

See you in game have gold lost around 5k + map lost on death.

Feedback:

Spell casting hold right click keep in place issue spell will cast as link to attack.

Agree when equipped staff/wand should unequipped shield! or allow shield to be used in casting spells with wand equipped.

Picking up loot in general with mouse can be bit hard to manage - possible link it to space bar or another button walk over press/hold spacebar.

Small issue trying pick up near trees unable pick up items, mouse unable get pick up. Fix link to spacebar or other button.

Party: Possible add HP bar some kind for those in party so if have some one can heal know when to heal vs wasting mp.

Weapon loot on ground, Size increase to pick up and to see something dropped

UI - Player interface - Add hunger info - Defense amount - 

Inventory: 50/50 - 0/800 weight icon take up little bit of bag space can be bit hard try take something from that corner. 50/50 fine where at other side needs be moved touch.

Other small issue with all item moving to single spot in bag, add few other locations vs one spot.

Update:

Green potion - Brilliant - Ex potion

Increase brightness of green brilliant - Ex potion so can see difference as drop same for mana so little easier tell difference as for what drops. As for current hard tell what is what when it is on ground.

Improvement to see what is on ground as loot, Pop msg for loot hold tab highlight loot on ground, Gold - blue potion so forth show what item is on ground. Help if missed weapon or item just did not see hold tab pop up, improve find item did not see.

Well figure try lottery ticket, Press tag 50k sadly all got was blue seabass worth 1k Figure not worth investment - Not sure what is possible from there high price tag for 1 random item - Possible get small potion worth 5g. 

Tryed mining bit in underground, Still find rocks few far between - luck so far crafting bars been bad, 4 trys craft dagger no luck.

Hey guys,

Thanks again for all of the feedback! We just released an update which makes changes for most of them. There are still a few that we haven't looked into. Me and the other main developer are going to be out next week, so we aren't planning to put out another update until after we get back. I'll still be monitoring the servers and support email in case something comes up. Please check out the devlog/website updates for information and give it all a try. Let us know what you think!

Update: Sword fills like should - axe deals where should be, Bought 2-h dealing same dmg as i was before able kill golems drop rate sucks 80 kills not single weapon drop Note: 10 char. Invest into char and hope drop rate better last weapon drop was at current around 150 kills or more.

Bow: add Dex req  Fill should be required dex to use these, First 2 possibly add small dex req.

Abalrien Bow 5-27 Level: 70 Strength: 70 - 40 Dexterity 78
Dark Elf Bow 5-38 Strength: 80 - 50 Dexterity 52

Something around this. Slightly adjustment.

Exp rates: might need look at.

Did find issue, Summoning: Spawned in slime used /kill command have yet get another spawn with skill.

Question: on guilds any point creating guild at this time? Buff's or bonus to making guild.

2 nd Question, Possible get list or general idea what is possible from lottery ticket, Creates one random item: at current means small red potion for price tag of 50k - Little more info what is possible worth risking 50k only get item worth 5g, Did one got blue bass worth 1k gold not worth it from first try. More idea what possible.

Add ALT+SHIFT feature to view name of items on ground

Doesn't work or missing something don't see anything when use ALT+SHIFT

Last Note: Really do need luck of the gods drop Abarlrein item from Orc, As well really like to see some other around better chance kill harder mobs try get drop. Level 72 now, Orcs are sadly best to kill at this time unless some how get drop from Golem, Howler.

I wouldn't recommend investing in charisma much if any at all. The increased drop chance from it is very very minimal, you're much better off increasing STR/DEX/VIT so that you can fight stronger monsters. Golems & howlers drop better items than easier monsters. Particularly, golems/howlers drop hauberks and chain hose which can be very helpful if you find them with physical absorb/magic absorb/hp regen/mp regen stats. These can be extremely helpful, and so they are not common drops.

As for changes to the bow requirements -- if anything we're thinking about reducing the requirements. Neither of those have dropped in the game yet though, so we'll think about it for now.

Exp rates: if we end up making any adjustments here, it'll take some time as this kind of thing takes a lot of scrutiny and testing. Not sure if you're staying with orcs because of the high-ish max exp the website shows. If so, the higher end is only for orcs that cast spells, the rest give exp from the lower end (10-30 or so). Orcs are fairly easy monsters meant primarily for lower level characters. At lvl 72 for a warrior, I would expect you would get more experience in a scorpion pit or graveyard in CL (far south, between the 2 Arbranau entrances, just above the road). The zombies & skeletons in the graveyard may not have the best drops, but they are good for leveling up.

For summoning, I can't seem to reproduce any problems. When you use the '/kill' command, it kills the summon, but you cannot summon another until the previous one is completely gone (not just dead, but has disappeared). Make sure you're casting it on yourself. Let me know if you're still having issues.

Guilds: the only benefit right now is that you have a private chat channel with all guild members. We plan to add more features to this in the future, but they're not going to be much use until we have a larger player base, so features here are on the back burner. Probably not worth the gold cost yet.

Lottery tickets are mostly there just for fun. There are a few rare items you can get from them, but odds are very low. Right now we're planning to keep the list a mystery.

ALT+SHIFT works when you have your cursor over an item on the ground, though I did notice an issue this morning that it didn't work if an entity was standing on the item (or laying dead on). We put out a small update this morning to correct that which seems to be working. Let me know if you're still having trouble.

Update: mouse over working fine, Summoning issue was not using on my self. Sadly summon instant died not sure how to use it die 1 hit.

Issue with drop rate on golem's around 200 kill or so get single item drop not potion or monster drop. Rare chance do get chain hose possible will be for W/M 50/50 evil. 1000 kills possibly see item drop, Seen 2 shields, 1 2-h sword sadly not useful. in 400+ kills done so far. Drop rate 1 in 20 for potion drop/gold. Kill around 100 hr ish per hr, Min 2 hrs for "1 item drop might be useful". 

Slime/orc 1 in 5 drop rate for potion/gold give or take - Scorpions/skelton about same closer to 10 per to 1 - Drop around 1 in 30 or so kills for items drop bit more. No where near 200 or so kill need for single item drop from golem.

Not killed nuf howler see what drop chance is for my self.

As things are current build, Looks like need grind new alt unable respect stats. Note: Invested some time leveling alt mean time, level 39 at this time.  level it and hope drops look better so far not found anything useful. Now do get drop not for M can use it.

Orc give a nuf gold buy potions and repair fee's kill anything els more cost issue. Other being really wont that bow drop - sword - wand be nice, around 5k + kills at this point slow going. Got sword to drop most issue be gone, Supper rare drop chance is going take some time as well not losing all gold on repair fee's/potions. 55 in req on sword kind of hurts build spec most current build issue are, 5 more level get req int. 

Bug or not listed as possible loot for orc's but gotten Berzerk Manual drop's. 3 so far in 5k or so kills done.
