For anyone not familiar with the original the controls are easy. To talk to someone walk up to them and click Talk on the commands panel in the right. To open doors (you need a key) move to the door and select Door from the commands. Chests you simply stand next to one and click Take. There is a bug here. Sometimes they won't open. Simply walk away and then walk back to them and it should work. To move your character use the A D W S buttons or the arrow keys.
