Save Game Bug Fix (At least for me)

So ive been having a bug where when i exit the game the saves would disappear like they never existed. But today after being very annoyed and trying many things i may have done something to fix this. First i went to the properties and unblocked the game, dont think that did anything to the game but i did it anyway. then i opened the game and went to the options and turned on the remember command, also dont think that did anything. But the thing i think that fixed it was that when i closed the game WinRAR said that the game files where edited or added. now i always close this pop up because it always appears in every game, but when i allowed them to archive those files on WinRAR and i opened the game the save files where there.  moral of my story is, read the pop ups and hit allow. i should add that you shouldn't close the game via alt+f4 or anything like that, use the end game close button they x out of the game in the main menu

Theory/update: From what i see in the save folder its empty in the beginning. obviously right. but now that its working i see some files that aren't saves?? seems the game doesn't start with the files it needs for the save feature to work, like at all after you close the game. but instead the game tries to download/get those files needed after you open/close the game. so when you open the game and stay in the game the save feature works but when you close the game it doesn't for some reason. usually when you close a game on WinRAR the files would auto update type stuff, but not this game. that's why i think when i try to open the game files while in game the game instead deletes all the save files and crashes. i think the issue guys is that the game isnt saving your progress but instead the game is reverting back to how you downloaded it, aka its fresh copy. so when i hit "allow added/edited files to be archived" all the game files updated and then saved, allowing the save feature to stabilize and work now. so its a matter of manually hitting the allow archive button when you exit the game on WinRAR so that the game files update and stabilize. idk how it works really, so this is just a small theory of mine that i made from observing and the game files and the bug. i hope this helps others with their saves, and if anybody have anymore ideas/comments feel free to share as this issue with the game sucks for everybody
