Hi all,

After some reports of the game not downloading correctly as part of the Ukraine bundle, we have looked into it and fixed it. If you had any errors previously, please try downloading again now.

I have tried downloading the zip file more than 10 times already. Out of the 660mb, it only allows me to download 55mb every time, therefore the game could not be played. Will continue downloading the game and once I become successful, I will post an update.

Update: 03/12/2022

I have successfully downloaded and extracted the zip file, and installed it . Now I am playing the game. Cheers!

I'm still also having the same issue. It says it is downloaded but when I go to extract the files there is nothing there. I was told that it's best to learn hiragana first so wanted to give this one a shot first. I'll try download the Kanji one though and see how that works out.

Do you mean when you go to extract the files there is nothing in the .zip folder? Or there is no .zip folder at all?

It’s says there is nothing in the .zip folder at all, as if I’ve downloaded and empty one, when I click extract all. (This is the only one that’s had issues for me out of the whole Ukraine bundle if that helps. I’ve also tried downloading it multiple times on 2 different windows systems)

Might not help but have you tried downloading it via the itch.io app? I just did it that way and then pressed the run when it had finished downloading and it launched the installer and installed it. I didn't even have to go looking for the zip file or extract it or anything.

Worked for me just now but maybe it's worth noting I did it via the itch.io app in case that makes any difference?

Confirmed. When I click on the download button, nothing happens. No dialog box, no errors (and just to be pendantic, no download). This is the only game that I have found so far that has this problem, including Kanji Combat.

I've just double-checked and verified the download. Everything is working fine. Tried it on multiple browsers and across different user accounts.

Please make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker enabled.
