Challenge Types (Main-Type):

  • Fight: Simply a creature to fight, unless a peaceful victory or alternate solution is noted.
  • Miniboss: Has higher stats, and typically offers Treasure Cards upon defeat.
  • Boss: A much more dangerous creature, typically with even higher stats and special abilities. Typically drops even more Treasure cards upon defeat. Defeating a Boss will grant the option to “clear” the dungeon and complete the session.
  • Obstacle: A challenge which should not require combat, but has other requirements.
  • Fortune: A typically beneficial situation that has no challenge or minimal challenge.

Challenge Types (Sub-Type):

  • Humanoid: Nothing special yet.
  • Goblin: Nothing Special yet.
  • Ogre: Typically has high Meat, and health near-equal to twice its Meat.
    • If the high Meat ogre still had 3x – 4x Health, that would probably be too much.
  • Undead: Can be instantly defeated with Holy Item, unless otherwise noted.
  • Beast: Can be instantly, peacefully cleared or bribed, with Meat to Eat.
  • Trap / Artificial: Can be instantly defeated (peacefully cleared?) with Enervating Magic Pulse.
  • Plant: Takes double damage from Fire attacks, unless otherwise noted.
  • Optional: Exactly what it says. Room can be bypassed and “cleared” without gaining loot if desired.
