Is there a way of adding custom decals on old Roblox clients without the Toolbox? I needed to add custom decals for videos I'm making, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Depends on the client you are using.

-2009E and older: Simply use the decal/texture options in the insert menu. The client will automatically convert the images you have selected to a Base64 format and bake them into the map file.

-2009M and newer: Open the clients folder inside of your Novetus installation. Open the folder containing the client you are currently using and open the content folder and copy your image into the folder.  Next you select the part you want to texture and use the "object" option in the insert menu to insert a decal/texture. When you inserted the decal/texture set the texture/textureID to: rbxasset://<INSERT FILENAME AND EXTENSION HERE> (For example: rbxasset://image01.jpg).

Hello dogemaster2403,

I am a Novetus user for 1 year.

Yes, there is a way you can make custom decals or meshes.

I will show you 3 steps (or even more).

When you're on the novetus game folders, click "shareddata" folders.

Once you are on the shareddata folders. You need click "textures" file.

Once you are on the textures file, you will find

LOT OF IMAGES!

When you find a lot of images, you got the folder position, also, in-studio of Novetus.

The Image Reveal on The Client

First of all, you need to copy this for the image. "rbxasset://../../../shareddata/textures/wall.png" For example, wall image.

You need to make an image and then put it in the Textures file on Novetus Game Folder.

Add an image to a part, and enter the png name of the Textures file for example "rbxasset://../../../shareddata/textures/NameHere.png"
