Unique Idol Drop Rates

I'm having a lot of fun with the game so far and I decided to grab a few mods that add unique idols, only to find that they drop far too often and aren't in line with rarity drop rates. Mods that add many idols can effectively remove all randomly generated default idols from the game entirely, even if the ignore.json isn't set up to explicitly do that. As far as I can tell, I think the game works by picking the portraits and then determining the rarity, which means any portrait attached to a unique idol with a set rarity has an equal chance of dropping regardless of audition level, and due to the relatively low number of default portraits even just a few unique idols can end up skewing the balance of the game. If you take them whenever they come up, you can end up with many strong idols very quickly, but if you decide to hold off on grabbing them to not skew that balance, your auditions are essentially crippled as the unique idols will drop just as often as any default portrait and it's more likely than not that your auditions will have at least one idol that you've already decided you don't want to pick now.

So my question is basically whether or not there's anything I can do to actually make the drop rate of unique idols in line with the drop rates their respective rarities would have in an audition, and, if not, whether or not that might be looked into and the system for spawning idols changed to possibly allow setting specific drop rates for unique idols or to hold unique idols to the drop rates their rarity would normally be held to. Oh, and regardless, thanks for your time and your work so far.
