A multi-version ROBLOX client launcher built to allow the user to run LAN and Internet servers. · By Bitl Development Studio

Trying to launch and play any client version past 2009E-HD crashes

Whenever I seem to choose a version that is later than 2009E-HD, it gives off the exact same error message as shown in the attached image. All dependencies were installed correctly and as an admin, and I even tried to change the graphics modes from OpenGL stable and experimental to DirectX. None work. I face this same issue on the stable release on version 1.2.4.1. What could be the issue? The console doesn't show any error messages when launching. I tried to create a server and launch as "Play Solo" I even tried at least 5 different maps from varying years. Any help would be much appreciated!

I didn't come across this error when testing the clients but I'll see what I can do

I would suggest you update your graphics drivers. I would also try running the clients without admin, just in case

Can you specify your computer specs?

suggestion: try installing the visual c++ 2008 redistributables

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26368

If that doesn't work uninstall it and try this

I have a Ryzen 9 5950X with a RTX 3080. The graphics drivers are already on the latest version and the 2008 redistributables you linked are both installed on my system. As for that second link, it leads to a 404 error page.

here's an internet archive version of the same link

That seems to already be installed on my system as well, but I ran a repair just in case but I still get the same error message.
