Hacknet is a hacking simulator that ticks all the right boxes for that genre. It nails the theme, giving you cool tools and procedures to work with, entertaining side stories and cool and well balanced ideas to simulate the hacking process. Naturally the game is mostly text, but that really just gets you invested in its theme and its hard to put down once you start digging through the code and files of the systems you access.Just an incredibly interesting and fun game, even if it isnt particularly flashy.
