I'm pretty new to making games and this is my first project that I'm sharing online, so I would love to hear some feedback. It's still only a prototype and early in development, I know some sounds in the game are not fully consistent (I'm looking at you mr zombie) and I will rework the sounds in the future.
The game is made as an audio-game (though the instructions are only by text so far), the "dungeon" is only a single big room, follow the music around the room to progress and monsters/bosses/traps will spawn for you to fight. I compiled a list of questions for the things I would be interested in hearing about, if you can answer a few I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your time!
- Did you manage to finish the game?
- What was your favorite moment or interaction?
- What was your least favorite moment or interaction?
- If you had a magic wand and could change any aspect of the game or your experience, what would it be? (Unlimited budget and time.)
- Is the game too difficult currently?
- Are there sounds that are too loud/quiet/out of place that needs to be changed?
- Is the premise of the game interesting to you, what would make it more interesting?
- What could have been explained better and what do you wish you knew when you first started playing?
- If you could add 3 items for the player to use, weapons/potions etc. what would those 3 items be?
- Other feedback/thoughts?
ps: You can switch between blind mode and debug mode by pressing "T", but it's not meant to be viewed in debug mode as it's only for testing if things are working properly as I'm adding new things to the game, so it will look extremely basic.
